Welcome to my blog! my name is Mohammad Omid Fouladvand, but everyone call me Dr. Mo.
I am associate professor of Neurology and ophthalmology at NYU University School of medicine and attending neuro-ophthalmologist and neurologist at NYU- Langone medical center and I practice and visit patients for consult and management in my private office.
My area of specialties are neuro-ophthalmology subject to patients who present with problems such as:
- Optic neuropathy & Visual loss
- Intracranial Hypertension & Papilledema
- Stroke, Aneurysms & Neuro vascular disorders affecting vision and ocular motor system
- Primary and secondary brain tumors affecting the vision
- Double vision & Eye movement abnormalities
- Multiple sclerosis & Demyelinating disorders affected visual system
- Orbital & Eyelid disorders
- Headache and facial pain
- Vestibular disorders and dizziness
- Systemic & Medical conditions affecting visual system
- Visual abnormalities from head trauma and post-concussion syndrome
I wanted to create a monthly blog where I can share my experiences and provide a useful platform for my patients and Colleagues referring to our center.
